Text-to-Speech (TTS) Voice Language not Available when a Different Text Language is Selected

Your device will only allow you to select a voice language that speaks street names (TTS) if you have that same language selected as the device's text language.

Although these devices will allow you to select a different language for the spoken voice than the text, it will not speak street names.

For example, if your text language is set to English, you will only be able to choose the English TTS voice languages. The device will not give the option to choose the Espanol TTS voice languages unless you have Espanol set as your text language.

If your text language is set to the desired language but you still do not see any options for a text-to-speech voice language, you may need to download one using our Garmin Express program.
