Adding or Removing Location Links to SMS Messages Sent from the Garmin Explore App

To add or remove location link to an SMS text message sent from the Garmin Explore™ app, you need to tap the location icon prior to sending the message:

  • Location Enabled - Location icon for SMS text message location link is On.

  • Location Disabled - Location icon for SMS text message location link is Off.

NOTE: The position format for latitude and longitude coordinates sent in SMS messages enabled to include location is set to Decimal Degrees (WGS84) by default and cannot be changed.
