Why Does My Varia RVR315 Have to Be Manually Turned On?

The Varia™ RVR315 rearview radar does not feature a stand by mode. When a paired Garmin watch or cycling computer is put to sleep or powered off, this will automatically power off the Varia RVR315. In order to wake it up or turn it on, press the power button on the paired device.
