(2023) Service Advisory 23001 Rev A: Database Sync

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

Garmin GTN 6XX/7XX (Software Versions 6.72 or earlier) or GPS 175/GNC 355/GNX 375 (Software Versions 3.20 or earlier) interfaced to G500(H)/G600/G700 TXi (Software Versions 3.50 or later) or GI 275 (Software Versions 2.60 or later) are affected.

NOTE
GTN Xi units are not affected.

ISSUE:

Database syncing from the GTN 6XX/7XX and GPS 175/GNC355/GNX 375 to the G500(H)/G600/G700 TXi and GI 275 is not supported.

ACTION:

Do one of the following:

• Load databases in the G500(H)/G600/G700 TXi to sync them to the GTN 6XX/7XX and GPS 175/GNC355/GNX 375
  
• Load databases in the GI 275 to sync them to the GPS 175/GNC355/GNX 375
  
• Load databases in each LRU individually.

RESOLUTION:

This will be fixed in future GTN 6XX/7XX and GPS 175/GNC 355/GNX 375 software versions.
