Pairing a Garmin Dive Computer

If you have a Garmin dive computer you can check out the video below or follow the steps in Pairing with the Garmin Dive App to set up your Garmin dive computer in the Garmin Dive app.

If you already have a Garmin Connect™ account, log in to the Garmin Dive app using your existing Garmin Connect account information. If you do not have a Garmin Connect account, download the Garmin Dive app and create a new account. After logging in, you will be able to use the Garmin Dive app.

Navigating the Garmin Dive App

After opening the Garmin Dive app there will be five buttons at the bottom of the screen that will allow you to interact with the app. See below for more detailed information about each option.

• The Home screen is the default home page for the Garmin Dive app. This screen is where you will be able to view your dive activities and sync your Garmin dive computer. Selecting one of your dives from this screen will open the dive to view all of the data for that dive.

• The Explore tool allows you to find more than 4,000 dive sites from around the world and view their popularity. Selecting a dive site on the map will show you information for that location including the name of the dive site, coordinates, and the depth of that dive site. You can also add photos and videos to the Gallery for a selected dive site.
  NOTE: Photos and videos can be viewed by all Garmin Dive users.

• The Add screen is where you can manually add a new dive into the Garmin Dive app. You can also add gear, like a mask or a regulator, add your diver certifications, and pair your Garmin dive computer.

• The You screen is where you can see an overview of everything synced in the Garmin Dive app, including the total number of dives that have been synced to the app with the total dive time. This will also display your Dive Readiness if you have a compatible paired Garmin dive computer. You can also see all of the dive badges that have been earned by completing different dive activities. This screen also allows you to view all of your saved dives, gear, certification, and devices.

• The More screen is where you will find general settings for the app and where you can access quick-links to other Garmin apps.

Manually Entering a Dive

If you forgot your Garmin dive computer or do not use a Garmin dive computer to track your dives, you can follow the steps listed in Manually Entering a Dive in the Garmin Dive App to manually enter a dive.
