Changing the Text Language on a BMW Motorrad Navigator V or VI

If a device powers on and displays text in a language you cannot read (wrong language), it can be corrected by going through the settings to change the text language. 

This Video is a Quick and Easy way to Learn about Changing the Text Language.

To Change the Text Language: 

When the device is first powered on a product usage agreement screen will appear briefly. Select the Accept button at the bottom.

1. Touch the wrench icon on the screen with the magnifying glass and map icon

2. Touch the down arrow

3. Touch the mouth icon

4. Touch the second option from the top

5. Touch the up or down arrow until you find the desired language 

6. Touch the desired language to select it

7. Touch the lower right button to save

The device should now be in the selected text language.  See Adding a Voice or Text Language to an Automotive Device if the desired language is missing.
