(2024) Service Advisory 23023 Rev B: Intermittent Traffic Display

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

GTN series navigators or GNC® 355/GPS 175 products, installed with a G3X Touch (with Software Version 8.81 and later) receiving traffic from one of the following transponders (with software versions 2.60 and later) are affected:

• GTX™ 345
  
• GTX 345R
  
• GTX 45R
  
• GTX 345D
  
• GTX 345DR
  

NOTE
GTN XI Series Navigators are not affected.

ISSUE:

Traffic may not be shown on the GTN series navigators or GNC 355/GPS 175 in areas of high traffic targets.

ACTION:

Use the G3X Touch display for viewing traffic. Do not rely on GTN series navigators or GNC 355/GPS 175 products for traffic information.

RESOLUTION:

This has been fixed in GTX ADS-B Software Version 3.32. Refer to Garmin TSO Service Bulletin 23042.

This has been fixed in GTX ADS-B Software Version 3.41. Refer to Garmin TSO Service Bulletin 23031, Garmin Non-Certified Service Bulletin 23034, Garmin Part 27 STC Service Bulletin 23035, or Garmin Part 23 STC Service Bulletin 23036.
