Pairing inReach with a PN-60w

To use a PN-60w to check and send messages with the inReach® satellite communicator, or to customize tracking intervals, the PN-60w and inReach communicator for PN-60w must be paired together. 

IMPORTANT

The PN-60w needs to be running the latest firmware to pair with an inReach device. The PN-60w can be paired only with the inReach device for PN-60w it cannot be paired with the inReach for Android or an inReach for Smartphones.

Pairing an inReach for PN-60w to a PN-60w

1. Turn on the PN-60w and ensure the inReach unit is off
   
   
2. On the main menu of the PN-60w, select the inReach icon and press ENTER
   
   
   
3. Press MENU to pair the devices
   
   
   
4. Press ENTER to select Pair DeLorme inReach
   
   
   
5. Press and hold the Power  button on the inReach device until the power light (LED) flashes twice
   NOTE: It is very important the power button is depressed long enough for the light to flash multiple times.
   
   
6. Ensure that the Pair option is selected on the PN-60w and press ENTER
   
   
   
7. After a brief wait the PN-60w and inReach device will be paired
