Registering my New or Exchanged Garmin Catalyst Device Using Garmin Express

Note: The device must be charged to connect to the computer properly. See the troubleshooting section of this FAQ for more information.

To Register Your Device:

1. Connect your Garmin Catalyst to the computer with the appropriate USB data cable

                 Micro USB Cable               Laptop                        Desktop

2. Open Garmin Express

3. A message prompting you to add a device should appear when a new device is connected

• • Click Add a Device if this message does not appear

4. When Express recognizes your connected device, click Add Device

• • See the troubleshooting section at the bottom of this FAQ if Express does not recognize your device

5. Sign in or Create an Account

6. Enter a nickname if desired and click Next

The device will now be registered to the email address entered in step 5 above.
