(2022) Service Bulletin 22040 Rev A: Access Panel for Co-Pilot Cyclic Control Wiring Harness Disconnect

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

GFC 600H systems installed under the GFC 600H Bell 505 STC SR01961WI, Master Drawing List Revisions 1 through 6 in Bell Helicopters Model 505 (trade name Jet Ranger X) are affected.

COMPLIANCE:

Recommended: This STC service bulletin is recommended for rotorcraft that frequently change configuration from dual to single cyclic control.

This STC service bulletin is optional for all other configurations.

PURPOSE:

GFC 600H electrical connectors for the co-pilot cyclic control are located under the cabin floor and only accessible by removing Bell SLS-030-209-001 Forward Belly Panel.

Revision 6 provides an option to install an access panel in the cabin floor that allows for quick disconnect of the wiring harness in a co-pilot cyclic control.
