GLO Series Refresh Rate is Not 10 Hz When Viewing Through My Device

The Garmin GLO™ and GLO™ 2 receivers poll position at 10 Hz (10 times per second), but not all devices refresh data received at 10 Hz. If you are not seeing a 10 Hz refresh rate, it could mean that the device the GLO receiver is connected to is unable to record or report at 10 Hz.

For example, iOS devices will not support a 10 Hz update rate and will instead refresh the GLO receiver's position at 1-3 Hz. The GLO receiver is still polling at 10 Hz, but there is a limitation causing the iOS product to refresh the GLO receiver's position at 1-3 Hz. Try pairing the GLO series receiver with a different brand of device if you are not seeing GPS data refresh at 10 Hz.
