Fixing a Runtime Error While Using the Updater.exe Application

A runtime error is sometimes seen while using the Updater.exe application. The runtime error occurs when the name of the application has been changed. For example, if the name of the application is Updater (1).exe, the runtime error will appear.

To resolve the issue, rename the application:

1. Right-click on the application (e.g., Updater (1).exe, Updater (2).exe, or so on)
2. Click on Rename
3. Rename the application to Updater.exe
• Some computers may not show the ".exe" extension by default. If ".exe" is not seen already, simply rename the file to Updater

Once the Updater.exe is named properly, the runtime error will no longer appear.
