VIRB Ultra 30 recording when turned on

The VIRB Record slider is designed to turn the device on and begin recording when pushed into the forward position. If the record switch is pushed forward toward the lens or if it is in the forward position when power is applied, the device will attempt to turn on and record video.

To avoid this, ensure the record switch is flipped back toward the viewfinder and power on the device with the LEFT/POWER button. This will allow the device to power on without beginning recording.
