Demo Mode on Xero X1i
In Demo Mode, ranging and aiming features of the Xero X1i can be experienced as if the scope has been calibrated. Profiles, Xero Locations, and Settings can also be viewed and adjusted in Demo Mode.
Demo Mode is best used to assess the features of the scope prior to purchasing or before mounting the scope on a crossbow and completing calibration steps.
NOTE: Calibration should be completed before taking any shots with the Xero X1i mounted to the crossbow. For more information about calibrating, see Getting Started With the Xero X1i Crossbow Scope
Using Demo Mode on Xero X1i
Entering Demo Mode on Xero X1i
If the scope has not been calibrated, you will be prompted to calibrate or enter Demo Mode every time the scope is powered on.
- Press OK to power on the scope
- Choose a Language
- Choose an option for Units
- When prompted to "Start Calibration?" select Demo Mode
- Select Dismiss
The scope will go into Hunt Mode. Press and hold the ranging button to range an object and generate a simulated aim point.
Accessing Settings in Demo Mode
From Hunt Mode, Profiles, Xero Locations, and Settings can be accessed by pressing OK.
The first time Hunt Mode is exited, the scope will ask if you want to exit Demo Mode or Calibrate. Select No to continue to the Main Menu.
Exiting Demo Mode on Xero X1i
Demo Mode can be exited at any time by powering off the scope and choosing Calibrate the next time the scope is powered on.
