Dealer Exclusive (EX) Automotive GPS Models

Garmin occasionally releases Automotive GPS models exclusively sold by specific dealers. These models are often not listed on Garmin's website due to:

• Limited availability
• Different features
• Different mapping compatibility/preloaded maps
• Possible bundled accessories different from the Garmin devices sold on our website or other dealers

The Dealer Exclusive devices are compatible with the following City Navigator Map regions. 

• North America
• Europe
• Australia and New Zealand
• South America
• Southern Africa
• Middle East and Northern Africa
• East and West Africa

• NOTE: Garmin automotive models labeled EX stands for Exclusive or dealer exclusively sold devices.
• EX models and dealer exclusive devices do not include the Direct Access¹ and Real Directions² features.

Garmin Dash Cam™ 54

• Exclusive to: Europe
• Comparable Model: Shares the same features as the Garmin Dash Cam 55.
• The only difference is that this model does not include a memory card.

Garmin Drive™ 5 w/ Maps EX

• Comparable Model:  Shares the same features as the Drive 50LM. 
• The only differences are this model does not include Canadian maps and is not traffic compatible.

Garmin Drive™ 5 EX and Garmin Drive™ 5 LMT

• Comparable Model:  Shares the same features as the Drive 50 US.
• The Drive 5 EX and Drive 5 LMT do not include include Canada maps.
  

Garmin Drive™ 6 w/ Maps EX

• Comparable Model:  Shares the same features as the Drive 60LM.  
• The only differences are this model does not include Canadian maps and is not traffic compatible.

Garmin Drive™ 6 LM EX

• Comparable Model:  Shares the same features as the Drive 60 US. 
• The Drive 6 LM EX does not include Canada maps.

  • Traffic is only supported when powered with a GTM 36 or 60, but supplies Garmin Traffic only, no HD traffic.
  • Mini USB connector.
  • Includes a 12V power cable, USB cable, and suction cup mount
    

Garmin Drive™ 61 LM EX

• Comparable Model:  The Drive 61 US.
  
• This model does not include Canadian maps.

Garmin DriveAssist™ 51LMTHD NA 

• Comparable Model: The only difference between this exclusive and the regular DriveAssist™ 51LMT is that this device has HD traffic embedded, whereas the regular DriveAssist™ 51LMT receives traffic through Smartphone Link as a default.

• Comparable Model: Shares the same features as the DriveSmart™ 50LMT.

  • Traffic:
    • No embedded traffic
    • Traffic is supported with the Garmin Drive app OR
    • Traffic is supported when powered with a GTM 36 with the addition of the Mini USB to USB-C Adapter
    • GTM 60 is not supported
  • USB-C connector
  • Includes a 5V, 2.4A USB-C to USB-A cable and a 12V adapter with single USB-A port.
    • No audio out jack for wired AUX stereo integration
  • BC 50 and BC 40 backup cameras are compatible
