Navionics Boating: Zoom Range

The best zoom range for the Navionics® Boating app charts will depend on the screen size and resolution of the device being used, which will vary. Technically, the best zoom range of our chart data is 760 ft (1/8 NM) due to the best resolution available on most of our map sources. Anything lower, like with your mobile app, is an over zoom and not providing additional detail. It is just a magnification of the chart data in the final zoom level.
