The Buttons on My Garmin Watch Do Not Respond When Pressed or Appear to Be Stuck
If a button on your watch stops working, debris might be caught between the button and the watch casing.
Step 1: Quick Rinse
- Thoroughly rinse your watch with fresh water.
Still Not Working After Rinsing? Try Soaking:
Prepare: Fill a small bowl with fresh water.
Soak: Place the watch in the bowl and let it soak for 10 minutes.
Rinse Again: Remove the watch from the bowl and rinse it thoroughly under a low-pressure faucet.
Dry: Gently shake off any excess water and allow the watch to air dry completely.
Test: Once dry, test the button.
For more detailed cleaning information for your Garmin device, please see the "Device Care" section in your owner's manual.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: To Protect Your Watch
To avoid permanent damage to your device, follow these guidelines:
Handle with Care: Avoid extreme shocks and harsh treatment, as this can shorten the life of your watch.
No Sharp Objects: Do not use any sharp objects when cleaning the watch.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Steer clear of chemical cleaners and solvents, as they can damage plastic components and finishes.
