Using Popularity Routing and the Popularity Map Theme on the Montana 700 Series
With the release of software version 8.20, the Montana 700 series has two new features; popularity routing and the popularity map theme. These new features allow your Montana 700 Series device to automatically route on the most popular paths and trails for your activity and display them on the map.
Enabling Popularity Routing on the Montana 700 Series
- Tap on
. - Select Setup.
- Select Routing.
- Select Popularity Routing to toggle it on.
Displaying the Popularity Map Theme
- From the Map page, touch
. - Select Popularity to toggle the popularity map theme on.
Example of the Map With Popularity Theme Enabled
The screenshot below shows the map with popularity theme enabled and routing method set to Cycling. The dark purple lines indicate very popular cycling routes, while light purple lines indicate less popular routes.
