Access Navionics Charts and Features on Raymarine C-Classic Units

Plotter Software

IMPORTANT: Plotter manufacturer’s latest software updates required.
Check your plotter’s software under Menu > System Diagnostics > Software Services > Unit Info. Listed as APP VERSION #.
Current chart plotter/sounder software update versions

TIP: Do not use your Navionics® card to update your plotter software or have it in your plotter when performing plotter update!

NOTE: To remove a chart card from the plotter when it is powered on:
Press Menu > Remove CF Card; wait until the message displays that it is safe to do so. Failing to do so may damage the information on the chart card.

Chart Layers

Make your chart selections by pressing your Presentation soft key, then press the Chart Layers soft key to switch between:
NAV = Nautical Chart = official charting detail
FISH = SonarChart™ = high-definition bottom contour detail

Navionics Recommended Chart Settings

Press Menu > Cartography Setup
Chart Display (Detailed); Chart Text (ON); Spot Soundings (ON); Depth Contour (ALL); Nav. Marks (ON); Marine Features (ON); Land Features (ON); Additional Wrecks (ON);

Optional Chart Settings/Features:
Colored Seabed Areas (On/Off) – Menu > Cartography Setup
