Siriux XM weather data is missing with a GXM 52

If you are using a GXM 52 weather antenna and activated your subscription before July 17th, 2014, your chartplotter may not be able to properly load NEXRAD weather data. To resolve the issue, please contact SiriusXM at 1-855-796-9847 and ask them to deactivate, then reactivate your subscription.

Please plan a time to call them when you can be on your boat with the antenna and chartplotter turned on. You will need your 8-digit Radio ID. To access your Radio ID:

  1. From the Home screen, select Settings/Configure
  2. Select System
  3. Select System Information
  4. On some chartplotters you may need to select Software Information
*Note that the Radio ID does not contain the letters I, O, S, or F.

Once you have reactivated your subscription, weather data will begin to load properly.
