Printer Configuration Error in BaseCamp
In BaseCamp™ software, a printer configuration error may occur when choosing to print. Adjusting the permissions and setting a default printer will resolve this issue.
To Resolve the Error:
1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Type Control
3. Click OK
4. In the View by drop-down, click Category
5. Click View Devices and Printers
6. Click your printer
7. Click More devices and printers settings
8. Right-click on the desired printer to be used
9. Click Set as Default Printer
10. Right-click on the printer again
11. Click Printer Properties
12. Click the Security tab
13. Click the Username of the user who is currently logged in
14. Click the Allow box next to the Print option
15. Click Apply
16. Click OK
Changing the permissions and ensuring there is a default printer will resolve the printer configuration error in BaseCamp software.
