Using the Backlight on a Foretrex 301 and 401

While the Foretrex® outdoor device is powered on, quickly press and release Foretrex Power Icon . The backlight stays on for 30 seconds. Press Foretrex Power Icon again to turn off the backlight before the automatic light timeout. 

Adjusting the Backlight Timeout

  1. From the main menu, select SETUP.

  2. Select DISPLAY.

  3. Select LIGHT TIME OUT.

  4. Use Foretrex Up Arrow and Foretrex Down Arrow to set the amount of time the backlight stays on.
