You can Help Protect the Mount by Following the Tips Listed Below:

• Keep pins dry and covered with the included weather cap
  • The included weather cap is attached to the power cable as seen below

• Wire power for the mount to a switched power source to provide power to the mount only when the vehicle is powered on
• Apply dielectric grease to the pins to create a thin protective coating on the surface of the pins
• If water does get into the connection area, blow it out with compressed/canned air
• Mount the device behind fairing (windshield), if available

These steps will help protect your device and accessories from harsh weather elements.
