Editing Data Screens on a fēnix E Watch

The activity data screens on the fēnix® E watch can be edited, reordered, or removed. This allows for customization of the data you see while in an activity, only seeing the data that is most important to you. The video below guides you through one way to customize the activity data screens on your watch.

Opening the Data Screen Editing Menu 

These steps guide you to the menu where edits can be made to your data screens and data fields on your watch. You can also use the Real Time Settings in the Garmin Connect App to change your activity screen options.

  1. Hold UP/MENU (middle left) button.

  2. Select Watch Settings.

  3. Select Activities.

  4. Select the activity you want to adjust.

  5. Select (Activity) Settings.

  6. Select Data Screens.

  7. Scroll to the screen you wish to edit.

  8. Press START (upper right) to begin editing.

You can now make changes to data screens and data fields. 

Making Changes to Data Screens

Editing a Data Screen Layout

  1. Select Layout.
  2. Select a new layout for the data screen. 
    NOTE: Press BACK (lower right) twice to exit the menu.

Editing Data Fields

  1. Select Data Fields.
  2. Select a field to edit.
  3. Select a category of data fields.
  4. Select a data field.

Reordering a Data Screen

  1. Select Reorder.
  2. Press UP/MENU (middle left) or DOWN (lower left) to reorder the data screen.
  3. Press START (upper right) to confirm the placement.

Removing a Data Screen

  1. Select Remove.
  2. Select Yes to remove.

Adding a Data Screen

  1. Select Add New.
  2. Select the type of data for the screen to display.
  3. Press UP/MENU (middle left) or DOWN (lower left) to reorder the new screen.
  4. Press START (upper right) to confirm the position.

Edits can now be made to the new data screen.
