Connecting the Group Ride Radio to the Tread XL - Baja Race Edition

The Group Ride Radio (6", 8" and 10") can be purchased and connected to the included Tread XL Dock for use with the Tread® XL - Baja Race Edition GPS navigator. View the steps below to wire the Group Ride Radio to the dock.

Connecting the Group Ride Radio to the Tread XL Dock

1. Remove the Group Ride mount, 90-degree cable adapter, antenna, fist mic and included hardware from the packaging.

2. Connect the 90-degree cable adapter (female end) to the Group Ride mount cable (male end). Tighten the collar around the connected cables to ensure they are connected properly.

3. Run the 90-degree cable adapter along the preferred installation path in the vehicle and mount the Group Ride Radio.

4. Remove the Tread dock from the bail-mount adapter by removing the four front screws

5. Connect the 90-degree cable adapter (male end) to the data port on the Tread dock. Tighten the collar to ensure it’s connected properly.

6. Secure the dock to the bail-mount adapter using the four included screws

7. Attach the included antenna to the Group Ride mount

8. Attach the included fist mic to the Group Ride mount

9. Mount your Tread to the dock
