Software Update Instructions for the Garmin Bounce
Keeping your software up to date will ensure that you get the best performance and latest features on your Garmin Device. Software updates are downloaded and installed using one of the following methods:
Garmin Jr. App
When a software update is available for the Bounce™ watch, it is automatically downloaded to the smartphone that the watch is paired to behind the scenes. Once downloaded, a notice will appear within the Garmin Jr.™ app notifying you of the pending update. This notification will appear within your child's avatar as shown below. When going into your child's dashboard, software update instructions will be listed allowing you to install the update to the watch. The watch must stay connected via Bluetooth® to the paired phone to install this update.
Garmin Express
Garmin Express™ software provides the ability to check for and download software updates automatically each time you connect your device to the computer. Follow the installation instructions through the link below.Download Garmin Express For Your Computer.
Once an update has been downloaded, safely eject your device from the computer and disconnect it. When your device powers on, you will receive a prompt to install the update. While the installation is in progress, do not operate any buttons or engage the device until the installation is complete.
Wi-Fi
If Wi-Fi® has been set up on your Bounce, you can update the software via a Wi-Fi sync in the watch settings using the instructions below. For information on network compatibility and set up instructions, see Garmin Bounce: Wi-Fi Set Up and Troubleshooting.

Select the
icon.Select System.
Select About.
Select Software Update.
