Improve the Activity Tracking Accuracy of an Approach

The Custom Stride Length feature assists with getting the most accurate distance on an activity tracker. Set your custom step length by using the Garmin Connect™ website or Garmin Connect™ Mobile. Setting the Custom Stride Length will involve walking or running a known distance and counting the steps it took to complete that distance. The minimum distance is 400 meters. However, it is recommended to go 800 meters. Typically doing this by walking/running on a 400 meter track will provide the most accurate results.

These Golf Devices Can Use Custom Stride Length for Walking
