If these steps do not resolve the issue:
- Temporarily disable all firewalls and security programs such as Norton, McAfee, Komodo, ZoneAlarm, etc. Firewalls can block WebUpdater from accessing the Internet. Consult with the security software manufacturer for assistance in allowing WebUpdater access or disabling the Firewall.
- Wireless connections can be unstable at times and cause the download to have issues. If possible, use a wired connection to run the update instead. Routers can also act as a physical firewall and block WebUpdater from properly accessing the Internet. Please contact the Internet Service Provider for further assistance in bypassing the router.
- Restart the computer, then try again.
The application should no longer display the error after these steps are taken.
