Pro 550 Plus Handheld Freezes, Reboots, or Won't Power On
If a Pro 550 Plus dog tracking handheld freezes, reboots, or won't power on at all, there are several things that can be checked to determine and resolve the cause of the issue.
Before attempting the steps below, check to make sure your device has the latest software updates installed. Instructions for updating your device can be found at the following link:
If the issue persists, try the troubleshooting steps below according to the type of behavior the device is displaying.
Note: The steps below are listed in the recommended order but only need to be followed until the issue is resolved.
To fix a device that will not power on:
- Double check that the device is fully charged
- If the device does not power up, connect to an external USB power source
- If the device powers up with USB power the battery may be defective and the device may need to be replaced
