Calibrating the Battery Monitor and How to Tell What Battery Percentage I Have In the Aera 760

When you power on the aera® 760 avionics navigator unit for the first time after receiving it, you will need to calibrate the battery sensor.

To do this:

1. Ensure the unit is not connected to external power.
2. Discharge the battery by letting the unit naturally power off. 
3. Connect the unit to external power and let it charge until the battery percentage reaches 100%.

One of the new features that was added to this new device is battery percentage.

1. To see the battery percentage, simply touch the battery icon on the top right section of the screen.

2. This will open the “Power Information” window where you can see what percentage your battery is on.
