Missing or Corrupt Voice Files on an Automotive Device

You can reload and update any audio files missing or corrupt on your automotive device using Garmin Express.

To Reload or Update Voice Language Files:

1. Download and install the Garmin Express application

2. Connect the device to your computer

3. Choose or add a device

4. Click Tools & Content

5. Click the Utilities tab

6. Scroll down to Optional Updates

7. Click Language Files

8. Select the desired language(s)

9. Scroll down and click Install Now

The voice language on your device can be changed now.

To Change the Voice Language:

1. Touch Tools

2. Touch Settings

3. Touch Language

4. Touch Voice

• • Some devices will call this Voice Personality or Voice Language

5. Touch the desired voice language

6. Touch OK or Save

The device will now speak the selected voice language.
