(2015) Service Advisory 1507 Rev B: Published Hold Can Be Shown On the Wrong Side

AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
 G900X, G950, G1000(H), Cirrus Perspective, and Embraer Prodigy products with GDU software version 12.20 and later, and all G2000, G3000, G5000(H), and Embraer Prodigy Touch products are affected.

ISSUE:
 The “hold at waypoint” direction on an approach may be shown on the wrong side if the EFC (Expect Further Clearance) Time is added on the Hold At Waypoint page.  For G2000/G3000/G5000(H)/Embraer Prodigy Touch systems, selecting Direct To the hold fix in an approach may also result in incorrect turn direction guidance.

PILOT ACTION:
 Do not use the Hold At Waypoint page to add the EFC Time to a hold that is part of an approach.  Confirm all hold turn guidance against a published chart.  If the hold turn guidance is incorrect, remove and add the approach procedure again.
