Intensity Minutes Feature on a vivofit 3 or vivofit 4 Watch

The vÍvofit® 3 and vÍvofit® 4 watches can calculate intensity minutes based on the number of steps you are taking. Taking a brisk walk or going out for a jog that lasts for at least 10 consecutive minutes will trigger credit towards your weekly intensity minutes goal.

Are There Other Ways to Obtain Intensity Minutes Credit Besides Walking Briskly?

No. Only steps taken are recognized as a way to earn credit.

What Is Considered a Brisk Walk?

Cadence for a brisk walk needs to be about 100 steps a minute.

Will Stopping to Tie My Shoe or Waiting at a Crosswalk Interrupt My Credit Period?

Stopping for more than 60 seconds will require you to walk uninterrupted for another 10 consecutive minutes before you will start earning intensity minutes credit again.

Does My vÍvofit 3 Take Into Consideration My Heart Rate From the Heart Rate Strap That I Am Wearing?

The vÍvofit 3 does not use heart rate to earn credit. The vÍvofit 4 cannot connect with a heart rate strap.
