What the lights on a GTM 20 or GTM 21 traffic receiver mean
The LED lights on the GTM 20 and 21 traffic receivers are an indication of the status of the both power and traffic data. The GTM 20 is an American traffic receiver and the GTM 21 is a European traffic receiver.
The LED light closer to the end of the plug lights up with the cable is receiving power. This light will always be green when it is on.
The LED light closer to the cord provides information about the status of traffic data. Below is a list that will explain what this light means when it is on:
- Yellow flashing light: determining which country it is being used in
- Yellow solid light: searching for a traffic signal
- Red solid light: temporary signal loss
- Green solid light: receiving traffic data
