Connecting a GSD 22 to a Garmin Chartplotter

The GSD 22 offers two different connecting methods to a chartplotter, CANet and Garmin Marine Network.

The following GPS devices do not offer CANet capabilities:

• All echoMAP series
• GPSMAP 10x0 series
• GPSMAP 3xxx series
• GPSMAP 4xxx series
• GPSMAP 5xxx series
• GPSMAP 6xxx series
• GPSMAP 7xxx series
• GPSMAP 7x1 series
• GPSMAP 8x0 series
• GPSMAP 8xxx series

Since the above devices do not offer CANet capabilities, they will only be able to connect to a GSD 22 over the Garmin Marine Network.
