Viewing Alternate Map Pages in ActiveCaptain® App

Selecting alternate charts in the ActiveCaptain® app

Garmin charts allow different map views for Navigation, Fishing Chart, Raster, and Relief Shading¹. Raster charts are only downloaded via the ActiveCaptain® app. If using a preloaded chart card, register the card to utilize the Raster charts; see Registering Garmin Marine Devices and Charts. Some options require selection before map download; See High-Resolution Relief Shading Download via ActiveCaptain.

Choosing alternate maps

1. Open the ActiveCaptain app and log in

2. Select the Pages Button (underneath the Menu)

3. Choose the Chart to view

   • Navigation

   • Fishing Chart

   • Raster 

   • Relief Shading

¹Relief shading is a feature included with either the BlueChart® g3 vision or the Garmin Navionics Vision+™ subscription.
