Phone Permissions Required to Use the Smartphone Link App
Most smartphone apps, when initially installed, will request certain permissions that control the capabilities or information that the app is allowed to access. The Garmin Smartphone Link App requires certain phone permissions for features such as Live Track and Smart Notifications to work on the device.
The Following Permissions are Requested by the Garmin Smartphone Link app During the Initial Setup:
- Location
- Phone
- Contacts
- Storage
- Post Notifications
