How to Use Tacx Software on a Monitor or TV Screen

NOTICE: Mac users, Tacx Desktop for Mac has been replaced with the Tacx Training app. Support for the Tacx Desktop app for Mac is no longer available. For more information see: Introducing the Tacx Training App for Mac. Windows users are not affected by this change.

Tacx Training™ apps cannot be installed directly to a smart TV or Apple TV at this time, but there are still some options for displaying these training apps on a big screen.

Tacx Desktop app on TV

Tacx Desktop App or the Tacx Training App for Mac (Preferred Method)

The simplest method is to use a wired connection between the computer and the TV (like an HDMI cable) to make the TV act as a secondary monitor for your computer. Specific steps for this will vary depending on the model of the computer and the TV you are using. Contact your computer or TV manufacturer for specific instructions.

Some computers and TVs have wireless display options so you can mirror your computer's display to a TV. For more details on this, refer to the following support articles or contact your computer or TV manufacturer:

This method isn't ideal since the display resolutions on phones and tablets will be different than most TVs, but the following support articles provide information on how to wirelessly mirror your device's display to a compatible device:
