Importing GPX Files to the Tread® XL - Chase Edition and Tread® XL - Race Edition

1. Plug the Tread® into the computer

• NOTE: Devices with MTP mode are prevented from appearing as a separate drive on a Mac computer.  For these devices, a Windows computer must be used.  See Automotive Device Compatibility with Garmin Mac Applications on macOS.

2. Open the Internal Storage of the device

3. Drag and drop the GPX file into the GPX folder of the device

4. Touch Race 

5. Touch Track

6. Touch Import

7. Touch the GPX file you want to import

8. Touch Ok

9. Select the files within the GPX file you want to import 

• Touch Select All to import all file types within the GPX file.
• Touch Waypoints to import only the waypoints within the GPX file.
• Touch Tracks to import only the Tracks within the GPX file.

10. Touch Next

11. Touch Import

• Touch New Collection first if you want to make a collection and import the file into that collection.

1. Insert the SD card into the device and load the GPX files onto the SD card

2. Touch Race Files

3. Touch the Three Dots

4. Touch Import

5. Touch the GPX file you want to import

6. Touch Ok

7. Select the files within the GPX file you want to import 

• Touch Select All to import all file types within the GPX file.
• Touch Waypoints to import only the waypoints within the GPX file.
• Touch Tracks to import only the Tracks within the GPX file.

8. Touch Next

9. Touch Import

• Touch New Collection first if you want to make a collection and import the file into that collection.
