Transferring BirdsEye Imagery to an External Memory Card
After BirdsEye Imagery has been downloaded to Garmin BaseCamp™ software, it can be then be sent to a microSD or SD card instead of being loaded to the Garmin device itself if you currently have an active BirdsEye subscription.
To transfer BirdsEye Imagery to a memory card, ensure the following first:
- The microSD or SD card is connected to the computer.
- It can be connected to through a memory card reader or installed directly into the Garmin with an active subscription.
- The BirdsEye Imagery is already download.
- Instructions for downloading can be found at: Download and Install BirdsEye Products.
- Note: Uncheck any Send or Copy imagery to the Garmin device box.
After your BirdsEye Imagery is downloaded, it can now be transferred to your memory card.
The instructions below work for both PC and Mac operating systems.
Transferring BirdsEye to a Memory Card
- Click My Collection
- Locate the BirdsEye Imagery
- Right-Click PC or Control Click Mac on Imagery
- Click Send To…
- Select Memory Card
- Click OK
- Wait for Download to transfer
BirdsEye imagery will be transferred to the card and not the internal memory of the device.
