Data Limitations of the Montana 700 Series
When sending or creating files for a Montana® 700, 700i, 710, 710i, 750i, or 760i outdoor handheld, keep in mind the following limitations:
2,000 GPX files
10,000 waypoints
No limit on geocaches (outside of max number of GPX files supported and memory available)
250 routes, 250 points per route; 50 points turn-by-turn routing
250 saved tracks
300 saved FIT activities
2,000 archive tracks1
20,000 points per track
500 custom map tiles
250 JNX files (satellite imagery)
Limit is combined total of BirdsEye imagery files downloaded using BaseCamp™ software and Satellite Imagery files downloaded using Map Manager on the handheld. Up to 100 of those Satellite Imagery files can be downloaded using Map Manager on the handheld.

Each GPX file can contain a mixture of waypoints, geocaches, routes and tracks. If the GPX file containing a waypoint or geocache is deleted, the waypoint will no longer be available on the device.
When utilizing routes, only 50 points can be used for turn-by-turn navigation on roads or trails.
