Xero A1i PRO Center Shot and Offset
The concept of center shot is the relation of the perfect aligning of the arrow rest to that of the nocking point for the arrow on the bowstring. Given how the Xero® A1i PRO bow sight operates, proper center shot setup is very important. Different bow manufacturers and cam designs will have an affect on this process and positioning.
New options in the archery market advertise an improved sight picture and easier tuning, but also require different adjustments from those used prior. If these adjustments are made improperly, users of the Xero A1i PRO sight may experience running out of windage adjustment. We intentionally limit the windage adjustment on the Xero bow sight from being set to a position where it would become potentially unsafe for the archer due to arrow/shelf contact.
Typically, center shot will sit at a measurement of 13/16th of an inch to 15/16th of an inch. However, its important to check the manufacturer's specifications for the best recommendations.
NOTE: We recommend all bow adjustments and setup be performed by a professional archery technician.
