Pairing Instructions for a Speed/Cadence Sensor with an Outdoor Handheld GPS Device
Outdoor handhelds with ANT+® connectivity can be paired with speed and cadence sensors for cycling. When paired, a speed sensor overrides speed data derived from GPS while a cadence sensor provides pedal revolution data to the handheld. Speed and cadence data can be displayed on the handheld as data fields.
Speed and Cadence Sensor Compatibility with Outdoor Handheld
Most current outdoor handheld models are compatible with the Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor 2 (SC2) as well as the now discontinued GSC 10 bike sensor. Many legacy and discontinued handhelds, however, are only compatible with the GSC 10 sensor.
