Replacing and Adjusting Links for the fēnix Chronos Titanium Band
Follow the steps below to adjust or replace links in your titanium band for your fēnix® Chronos watch. Contact Garmin Product Support if you need to purchase replacement links.
Tools and Items Needed
- A clean workspace
- Spring bar removal tool (included with replacement links)
Removing the Links
- Use the quick release lever to remove the band from the watch body
- Use the spring bar removal tool to remove the pin from one of the links
Note: Repeat this process for any links that need removed
- Reconnect the links using the spring bar tool to fit the spring bar into place
- Reconnect the band to the watch body using the quick-release lever
Replacing Links
- Use the quick release lever to remove the band from the watch body
- Use the spring bar removal tool to remove the pin from one of the links
Note: Repeat this process for any links that need replaced - Remove the band pin
- Insert the band pin into the new rubber link
- Reconnect the links using the spring bar tool to fit the spring bar into place
- Reconnect the band to the watch body using the quick-release lever
