Activated IMEI Not Found Error When Syncing the Earthmate App

Some iPhone users may encounter the error "Activated IMEI not found" when trying to sync the Earthmate® app for iOS. This error occurs when there is extra spacing before or after the name of the iPhone in the iPhone device settings. If there are any characters such as periods (.), apostrophes ('), commas (,), etc., those may need to be removed as well.


Editing the Name of Your iPhone

You can remove any spacing before or after the name of your iPhone in your iPhone settings to resolve this error.

  1. Go to your iPhone Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select About.
  4. Select Name.
  5. Remove any spaces or other characters before or after your iPhone's name.
  6. Select Done to save your changes.

You should now be able to sync the Earthmate app.
