Turning Off Navigation Prompts on Automotive Devices

Navigation prompts are the verbal turn-by-turn directions the device provides when on a route. Some automotive devices will allow you to mute the navigation prompts only. 

To Turn Off the Navigation Prompts on These Devices:

1. Touch the Volume icon on the main menu

2. Touch the wrench icon

• • Skip this step on some devices

3. Touch Audio Mixer or Mixer 

4. Slide the Navigation or Navigation and OK Garmin volume bar all the way to left

5. Touch and hold the  Back arrow in the lower left to return to the main menu

This will turn off any voice prompts while navigating a route.

NOTE: Audio Mixer is available only after the phone has been paired to the device on some Bluetooth compatible devices.
