How to Install the Tether on an Edge Cycling Computer
Garmin provides a tether with most Edge models that allows you to secure it to the bike handlebar. The tether is attached to the Edge generally in the same area on the bottom near where the data charging cable is connected.

How Do I Install the Tether?
Generally the tether will loop through the slot on the Edge.
Most Edge models: open the weather cap to reveal the USB port. Edge 130/130 Plus observe the 2 small holes in the casing.
Thread the small loop of the tether through the openings in the casing.
Insert the larger loop at the opposite end of the tether though the loop at the small end and tighten the small loop onto the casing.
When mounting the Edge to the bike you can loop the tether around your handlebar to secure it to your bike in case it becomes dislodged from the mount.
