Changing the Super Admin Email on a Professional inReach Account
In the event that the Super Admin of a Professional account needs to be changed, you can do so on the Garmin Explore website.
Changing the Super Admin Email
- Log into explore.garmin.com.
- Select Settings.
- Select Edit next to the administrator or organization name.
- Make the desired change to the email field.
- Select Save.
- Retype your email address, then select Confirm.
- If you get an error that the email is being used by another user, please contact inReach Professional Support .
Recommendations for Shared Login Credentials
If the admin account needs to be accessed by more than one person, or if the administrator changes seasonally, a general "inReach Admin" email account can be created so that the credentials can be shared with multiple authorized individuals. To do this, first reach out to your organization's IT department and ask if they can create inreachadmin@yourcompanydomain.com as an email address. Once that has been done, change the Super Admin email address by using the steps above or contact inReach Professional Support .
