(2023) Service Bulletin 23003 Rev B: GI 275 Multi-function Instrument Software Version 2.60

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

GI 275 Multi-function Instrument systems installed under the GI 275 Part 23 AML STC SA02658SE are affected.

PURPOSE:

This STC Service Bulletin provides notification of STC SA02658SE Master Drawing List revision 19. This update includes the following changes:

• Updated GI 275 System Software to version 2.60:
  

NOTE
If installed, GTN Xi Software Version 20.30 (or later) and TXi 3.50 Software Version (or later) is required before loading GI 275 Software Version 2.60.

NOTE
Database sync routing is affected by this change. Systems with GTN™ 6XX/7XX (v6.72 or earlier) or GPS 175/GNC® 355/GNX™ 375 (v3.20 or earlier) interfaced to G500/G600 TXi (v3.50 or later) or GI 275 (v2.60 or later) no longer support database sync. Databases will need to be loaded onto each GTN 6XX/7XX and GPS 175/GNC 355/GNX 375 unit. This limitation will be fixed in future GTN 6XX/7XX and GPS 175/GNC 355/GNX 375 software versions. 

• • Fixed the Automatic Pitch Trim issue described in Garmin Service Alert 22109 with:
    
    • GSA28, System Software Version 4.95 (or later)
      
    • GSA28 -2X, System Software Version 2.25 (or later)
      

NOTE
Refer to Garmin STC Service Bulletin 22123 for a complete list of minimum software versions to update the GFC 500 software.

  • Improved the Bluetooth output data with various GPS sources
    
  • Added ‘No Coverage’ to the various FIS-B product legends
    
  • Added Density Altitude as a selectable field on the MFD Data page
    
  • Improved the user experience for airspace information on the moving map page
    
  • Added digitally signed database application
    
  • Improved flight data logging and diagnostics
    
• Updated GMU 44B System Software to version 2.01
