Can Dual-Sided Garmin Power Pedals Be Split to Use On Two Bikes?
Dual-sided power meters from Garmin measure power generated from the left and right legs independently to isolate where power is generated. However, only the left-side pedal has the ability to transmit this information to a compatible head unit. The right pedal is only capable of pairing to the left pedal solely for the purpose of transmitting power data from the right pedal. Since the right pedal does not have the ability to transmit data to a head unit, the pedals must be used together and not split between two separate bicycles.
